Date Night Outfit
When you take a step back and put things into perspective, you realize that there are only a handful of things that are truly important. We often stress the insignificant things that we lose sight of what’s important and relevant to the bigger picture in our own lives. One of the truly important things in life is spending time with those you love – of which I don’t do enough.
My career allows me to travel the world but keeps me away from home. So when schedules align to have a date with your friends or significant other - being the type A personality that I am, I have some preselected outfit to take out the guessing of what I'm going to wear. With friends and family alike, we often get comfortable with their presence that we don’t seize those opportunities to show them how much they truly mean to us.
There have been quite a few instances that have reminded me how lucky I am to have such an amazing and supportive group of friends and family. I have said this many times before and it will always remain true – I didn’t have much growing up, but I never noticed the things that I didn’t have because I was always so full of the love my family surrounded me with.
I enjoy juxtaposing pieces; such is the case of this leather mini paired with this vintage blouse.
It also never hurts to show a little leg ;)
