Wearing Pastels In The Fall

One of the saddest things about the end of summer (besides vacationing in the Hamptons) is transitioning your wardrobe for the fall season. Summer is all about playing with color, experimenting with vibrant prints, and working on that tan (with protective SPF of course. Always wear SPF!). The challenge with the fall season is the constant change in weather and by the time you leave the office you wish you had brought a cardigan. As of now I am in denial and I didn’t want to part with my pastels just yet – so I layered the pieces to make them work for the season. 

A vest is a great way to layer without adding too much weight to your outfit; a great pair of booties will add a little bit of edge and darkness to your look.  Top it off with a statement necklace for some glamour, and I say you are ready for the changing season
